Chapter 17 is coming along. I did end up writing, like, 3 more pages for chapter 16 after the update saying I was done with it. xD So it's longer than originally intended.

Finished writing chapter 16 of The Claiming. Summary has been altered to support the story better. I will schedule chapters 15 and 16 to publish shortly, too. The chapters have been on a very quick auto-publish run but I will begin slowing the pace of the publishing as I am beginning my junior year of college and starting a new job next week. Between being a mom of a first-grader, a pre-ker, a step-mom of a 6th grader, and a partner to my man... my life is about to become crazy chaotic. I will do all I can to remain a dutiful updater.

Just so everyone is aware... I am currently working on chapter 15 of The Claiming. All chapters up to 14 are currently scheduled to be published over the next couple weeks.

I intend on at least 45 chapters total in this first book. So a lot to look forward to.

          Enjoy!

Hey, y'all!

I am officially 1000% BACK - but with a twist.

I'm writing Dark Romance now. =0

Don't worry, though - I will come back to my fantasy stories I've let sit for eons... I've scanned through the unfinished bits and remember their absolutely untapped potential. I've just been reading a lot of... uh... other types of stories since I started reading actively again. It's been terribly cathartic and I'm obsessed.

Hope y'all love Connor and Lira as much as I do!

So I've posted the prologue-of-sorts to a story of mine I started writing years ago entitled "Falling into Pieces". I had intended on putting this story off for a while but, having just lost my mother - the sole inspiration for this book of forgiveness - I've decided to start working on it alongside everything else and sharing what I finish. Edmund is a fantastic character and I hope you all grow to love him as much as I did while developing his character.

I have also uploaded a short-story-letter sort of thing that I started writing a few years back. I had intended for it to be multi-chapter like everything else I write, but have come to the conclusion that it's perfect the way it is. Well, mostly. I'm sure I'll edit it after a while, but it won't have any kind of extension. And that feels good. So feel free to check out "To My Only Love" and let me know what you think.

I pulled all old chapters of "Innocence" and have put up the first rewritten chapter. I will eventually have a proper summary and the like, but first the story. I have the second chapter rewritten as well and the third is maybe halfway finished. The mood of the story has shifted slightly. I hope you all enjoy it even more than my previous rendition of the story.

I will try to update more frequently than before, but only with story news. I will also be using the "Notify my Followers" checkbox because I feel I'm spammed enough by writers I follow that I'm owed something. Haha. Plus, those who forgot I existed because of weaker storylines can try pouring over my new edits. ^.~

          Thanks for your time, guys.

I haven't posted an update in EONS... I have updated my stories, though! Well, I've updated "Ashes, Ashes..." and I am working on the next chapter. It's a looooong chapter. It's already at 2500 words and is maybe two-thirds finished. Maybe less. It's a pretty big chapter.

I've been working on a couple other stories as well, none of which have any chapters posted yet. They may not ever. I kinda want to finish them before Istart posting anything on them. The "Innocence" rewrite is going VERY well, in my humble opinion. I have the first two chapters all typed out, but I would like to get a few more finished before I start pulling the original chapters and replacing them with the new ones. Sure, the original is a little bogus, but it's something. I feel like my second attempt at it is MUCH better. I can't wait to finish that series. <3

Thanks for hanging in there, dearest of readers!

Well, shoot. It's been a minute (or a year and a half) since I've updated here. I've been doing a lot of modeling lately, so I'm still creating, just in a different way. I've been sitting around and settling in to write, though. I've been thinking about my stories super hard. Every time I go back to read my outlines, I get super pumped and try to write a little bit in each story I want to finish at least each week. I'm taking it slow, yeah, but I really hope it ends up being worth it. Thanks for taking the time to check in!

You know how sometimes something happens and you've almost convinced yourself to forget about it but then something completely out of left field comes thwacks you on the head and forces you to obsess over it again?

That's what's going on with this story right now.

I feel like I'm doing more obsessing than writing! -_-

"P.S. It Never Happened", a chicklit.

It was the smile that did her in, in hindsight. There was something she absolutely adored about boyish half smiles, an innocence in it that caused her heart to shoot into her throat. The hair had also been a factor, if she was completely honest with herself. Sometimes, when feeling particularly silly, she would call it "flippy hair" but she proved fish-like as the ends of his hair brushed gently against his upper lashes. Then there was the way his fingers danced across the frets of that old acoustic; she felt them leave goosebumps up and down her spine.

Oh, and the way he said her name...
