Those who may have followed the majority of my writing career know me as 'Mark Lupin.' A name birthed from my pen name 'Lupin' and my given name 'Mark.' However, I thought it was time I came public about my gender identity as 'non-binary.' I don't strongly identify either way on a scale of man or woman.

I've had to face a lot of truths to finally find this out about myself, and there are plenty of things I'm still trying to figure out. In a way, I think we all are. It's a part of being human. And those are the people I write my stories for.

My stories go to the people just trying to figure it out. To the people confused and could use a friend. The people who need an escape and a reminder that things get better - because they always do.

In my stories, I try to make people like you and me. People who feel hurt, who feel anger, who feel joy, who laugh, who cry, and who love. People you know. People who can be your friends in the deep dark night when you need them most. 

Here, Characters are Queen. Women and men to inspire us, to hear us, and to understand us. And I, Nyx Lupin, do my very best to bring them to you.
