I meant, it's a great story to read while it's still building up chapters. The waiting suspense is worth it! And, it's what makes me sooo hooked on this book!

I tend to continue the story in my head and then get so far that I legit don’t want to continue where I left off on my book bc I’m so far ahead that writing it all down is a pain & I don’t even remember everything so there’s no doubt I’ll veer off course from where I want it to go.

@Artzee_Dorito I honestly wouldn’t have thought a story out there would follow something word for word until I read your post. It just seems stupid bc how is it a fanfiction if nothing changes? I get following canon, but do it like I said instead of showing every little thing. If ppl don’t know what’s going on, that’s their fault for not knowing the source material and still reading fanfiction on it. Like… I read Sterek fanfiction before even watching Teen Wolf bc I’d see the Supernatural fandom talking about that ship too. Yes, I was confused, but that was on me. I could either write a comment asking for an explanation or suck it up and watch the show. OR, I could just go on with my life not knowing every little detail. In season 3B of Teen Wolf, Stiles gets possessed. I find it a good plot point. Do I want to watch it? No. I don’t want to put myself through the pain of seeing my fav character like that. Why would I want to read about every little thing that happened when there’s literal source material you can find it on? That’s not fanfiction, it’s just putting it into words instead of having it on a screen

@SPNshipper159 no this is so valid, sometimes you need to work with the plot already given and i understand that. but WORD FOR WORD?? what are you adding at that point? what’s making it YOUR story??
