Cheril screamed and fought in my arms as I held her away from the flames of the battle, her blue eyes huge and angry electricity crackling around her. I'd forgotten how strong she was.  NO! She shrieked. I HAVE TO GO BACK, HE LL DIE!
   I knew digital tears were falling down my face, but I continued to pull her away, eventually dragging her forcefully from the battle. Soon, her struggles subdued to quiet, ugly sobs.
