A Goodbye from the Girl Who Wrote
I never imagined I’d write this.
But maybe some endings deserve to be written,
even when the words feel like ashes in my mouth.
To everyone who ever read my work,
highlighted a line, left a comment,
or simply paused for a moment in my world,
thank you. You carried me through more than you know.
You gave my words meaning.
You gave me meaning.
But somewhere along the way,
I lost the voice I once trusted.
The one that used to whisper stories at 2 a.m.,
that used to fight for every character,
that used to believe writing could heal.
Now, I stare at the screen
and all I feel is silence.
This isn’t a dramatic farewell.
It’s just… a quiet letting go.
Of a version of me that no longer feels whole.
Of pages that no longer feel like home.
Maybe I’ll return one day,
when the words come back, when I do too.
But for now,
this chapter ends here.
Goodbye, not just to the stories,
but to the girl who thought they were enough.
