Hi everyone :)
          
          I know this account isn’t used much anyone (trust me, that’s my fault) but I just wanted to put this out there:
          
          Recently I’ve been seeing some posts and such on Twitter/Tumblr on racism in the ace community.
          
          And though I can’t do much, I’ve decided to share some articles/sources on the issue as it’s pretty prominent.
          
          Not only that, but most voices in the community are from people like me: white people.
          
          And that’s just not right.
          
          And also…we are two days away from 2022 and you’d think the universe would figure out how to fix this issue but no I guess not :/
          
          My point is: please remember that POC aces are valid and deserve to have their voices heard. If you see something from someone or from within yourself call it out. 
          
          Amplify POC ace voices.
          
          And please remember:
          
          Just because you’re a minority group doesn’t mean you can’t be racist, sexist, etc.
          
          And that includes us.
          
          There’s a lot of division in the LGBT+ community and I don’t think we as a small community need to add onto that.

          I don’t know what to do with this account. I’m honestly considering getting rid of it because I can’t give it the time and attention anymore. Between stuff going on in my real life and books I’m writing on my different accounts, I can’t be stretched thin.

UPDATE:
          
          Hey people! 
          
          I’m sorry for the inactivity of this account. As you all know, 2020 has been a terrible year for all of us, but for me particularly I have been in a hiatus for a year (and a few months in 2021) so I haven’t been really paying attention to my accounts. 
          
          So here’s some announcements:
          
          1) I had a bit of an issue with the email and actually getting into this account because the password needed to be reset. Anyway, it’s back now so YAY!
          
          2) Happy late International Asexual Day! It was a new date that just started this year on April 6th :)
          
          3) Echo has stepped down as leader as she cannot handle managing this account. If you want, go check out her demisexual community: @demi_community
          
          4) This account has been pretty dead. I might have to revamp it a little, I don’t know. I’m going to check in with some people, possibly reopen positions. I just want this community to thrive and that’s quite difficult when we’re all very busy with our accounts, school and well...life in general.
          
          I hope you all are doing good and I hope this has been a safe space for you all to get advice and meet fellow aces like yourself <3

Hi! Baby Ace here. So, about six or seven months ago, I discovered asexuality and recently started accepting myself (Though I feel like I’m still a bit young), and I wanted to get the opinions of other aces. I know that there’s a lot of controversy about heteroromantic aces and wether they belong in the community or not, and while I think they do, what do you humans think? I just don’t know if I’m accepted in the LGBTQIA+ community because I’m heteroromantic.

          A new leader and a co-leader have been chosen. HURRAY! 
          
          Congrats to @echo1110 and @PeppermintPancake !
          
          I have decided that I will not entirely leave, because I can’t bare to part from my creation. I will just occasionally pop in here and there and will edit books when needed.
          
          But if you have any inquires or need anything, go ask Echo! She’s in charge now. I’ve given her the reigns so to speak, the email is out of my hands and now into hers so I won’t be using it anymore!
          
          One of the other reasons I’ve decided to stay is because there’s gonna be an interview about me from one of our admins @black-coffee (who is currently on hiatus and has been since October last year) when we reach 100 followers. Hopefully she will be back by then!
          
          It also just makes things less complicated, I feel, you know?
          
          Anyway, thanks for understanding and I’m sorry if you don’t like the change in power, but it is what it is.
          
          I trust that Echo as the new leader will keep Asexuals-Unite running smoothly. It is in good hands ^-^

          So, um... this account has been on hiatus for awhile. The reason is because I don’t really know what to do with it anymore.
          
          I have decided that I will make a form to ask for a co-leader... or a possible new leader.
          
          I don’t want to have to do this... but I can’t run this account anymore.
          
          There’s too much going on in my life, between Wattpad, school, my personal life and of course the Cornavirus.
