A complex love story following two young friends Danielle and Eian fresh into college and struggling with recent breakups. Danielle a 21-year-old girl who is only in her second semester at the University of California to become an English major has a nihilistic view on love after her recent breakup with her boyfriend Javon, now with a tainted heart and a bitter outlook on life & love she seeks refuge in an old high school friend. Eian is 23 years old, studying at the University of California to become his small business owner, however still wracked with thoughts of the former love of his life Katt and trying to maintain a relationship with his new college girlfriend Ally, he finds himself overworked and overwhelmed even starting to revert into bad habits from his past, though reluctant at first, he begins to confide in his old high school friend. Danielle and Eian had met each other in high school through Daniel's best friend Margo who introduced Danielle to him, shortly after meeting Danielle and Eian had begun a sort of friends-with-benefits fling, though it was clear to everyone but them that there was always a little more to it than that, however after Eian started to drift from the group as a result of getting back with his ex-girlfriend Katt, Danielle and Eian quickly faded out of communication as well, the pair had previously been Inseparable until then. however, when Danielle showed up on her first day of orientation at the University of California she noticed a familiar face, Eian, this was the start of rebuilding an old long lost, and forgotten friendship. from there the story follows Danielle and Eian not only through college but also through figuring out their complicated relationship with each other. could the expiration date for whatever may have been there already exceed its time or it's not too late to look into something old with a new perspective?
