I love to read; I have since I was little, although I had a lot of trouble with it back then. I was essentially taught to read by the Harry Potter audio books, I remember lying in my bed listening to the flannel soft voice of Stephen Fry; painting the world of Joanne Rowling in my head, far more exciting and interesting than the homework and TV of the real world. Both that voice, that I still hear each week  on QI, and the words, that I still unceasingly read today; bestowed upon me the most wonderful, powerful and useful gift that could possibly have been given to me, and has shaped my life to this day. Literacy.
