So it’s been brought to my attention that someone had basically copied and pasted my story into one massive book, I wouldn’t mind honestly if they had the decency to give credit where it’s due and not change Scarlett’s name by simply adding a first name that’s not hers. It really saddens me that someone who clearly enjoyed my series(that I am still working on the rewrites for) decided to essentially steal my work. It honestly kinda makes me not want to post those rewrites here and that hurts because this was once an outlet for me. I mean not the resident evil original parts that belongs to cap com anyway but they took my oc insert and idea . I worked on those for about two years in total, laughing, cry and cheering for my oc with everyone who enjoyed the books. If you see this, you know who you are, all you had to do was ask and I’d have gladly either 1. Given you the story to alter from the original or 2. Helped you with your own ideas. Im all for creative sharing but just blatantly stealing something is not cool. Sorry for the rant after a long time of not posting, I am still here I get on almost every day and I don’t intend to go anywhere, life’s just been busy as it gets for everyone. Please be kind to one another, this world has too much harshness in it to do thoughtless things.
P.s: A big heartfelt thank you to all those who’ve read and enjoyed and stuck around this long. I hope to begin posting the rewrites soon. I will probably be taking the og versions down when the time comes and I hope you enjoy reading the revisions and new story lines as much as I have writing them! Not much will change but my writing style, it’s grown better I hope, but I have some plans I was unable to correctly fit the first time around and Scarlett herself is far more fleshed out.
