During a mysterious 1994 studio archive fire, a fragment of animated film didn’t burn — it opened. Jessica Rabbit stepped out of the smoke and into the real world, classified by the government as an anomalous human and quietly erased from official history. Though she passes as human, reality glitches around her: mirrors stutter, photos grow film grain, music swells from nowhere when her emotions run high. Haunted by memories of being written and owned, Jessica now lives off-grid in Los Angeles as a burlesque headliner and urban myth, terrified that one day the world will flatten her back into fiction.
