I may not know what you’re going through, as I’m not really old enough to get a job, but when my dad got his first job when he was younger, he had to retrain his mind set. His family members told him that he wouldn’t be able to hold a job because of his disability, making him feel worthless. He had to keep telling himself that he could do it through Jesus Christ. He has had problems with writing and speaking, but regardless of his disability, he knew he could do his job well because he had God by his side. And within months, he was the manager of one job, and working two to three different jobs over the weekend, and he was happy to do it. He kept his focus on Christ, even though he was not a perfect follower.
I don’t want you to feel alone or lost. First, and most importantly, you have the Holy Spirit. Yesterday was actually Pentecost, which was the first time the Holy Spirit came onto the disciples. Yesterday is a reminder of God’s goodness and mercy, and how He gave us a helper to guide and council us in all we do. And secondly, you have me, my mother, and my father all cheering you on and praying for you. We really do want to see you succeed, and we know that you will be able to with the Lord.
Because you are a child of God, you will have troubles in this world. But I also know that the devil likes to throw people off by attacking those who are coming into God’s blessings, attacking those who have a great purpose, and attacking those who have amazing things coming to them in from the Lord. He may try his best to get you off course, but our Heavenly Father, who is our protector and provider, declares that we already have victory over all of it.
