In Spring, your twilight story, Ray can see his dead mother and talk to her and all of that good stuff. It might just be hallucinations, but my theory is if and when he becomes a vampire, would he be able to see people from the dead and talk to them without anyone else being able too, like Klaus from Umbrella Academy? But it's just a little theory.
