My name is Ashley, but I write under the pseudonym Ashly-Rae. I am a Pittsburgh native, currently residing in the Maryland area to pursue my Master's of Social Work degree at Morgan State. I enjoy reading good novels, especially urban fiction novels.
 
As a young girl my dream was to become an author, however, I became discouraged after my fourth grade teacher told me I should choose a career that was more " professional". So fifteen years later, I took a leap towards faith, and began writing my first book, titled "The Life of A Hustler's Daughter, which will be released in the late summer of this year.

 Currently, I am in the process of sending my manuscript to an editor, as well as starting on my second project ,titled "Good Girl Forever Gone". My all time goal is to entertain book lovers, by creating amazing stories that will stimulate the mind, body, and soul.
