My name is Katherine Pierce and I've been running from Niklaus Mikaelson for a long time . In the 1800's , I made my way to a small town called Mystic Falls , where I stayed with the Salvatore family . I fell in love with Stefan Salvatore , but unfortunately , I had to leave because Klaus was closer to finding me . It was my biggest regret . But now I'm done with regrets because I'm back . And I'm done running .
