          First and foremost, I want to thank you for giving "Secrets and Trinkets" a chance, really!! I just read your comment, and I totally get your point!! 
          
          I think it can definitely be frustrating when a character clings to an unrequited love like that! Writing that kind of stubborn, agonizing angst is definitely a choice, and it can definitely test a reader's patience.
          
          Nonetheless, I'd love it if you could tell me more about your perspective! Even if you decide not to finish the book, I'd love to know your thoughts. 
          
          Anyways, don't feel bad for not liking it!! And again, thank you so much!!
