          I threw the door fully open to see the walls and floor covered in blood. There is no way she could've survived that. Yet, in the middle of the room, a guard stood holding Layla by her hair. She was looking at me with eyes that have already given up. Her clothes were covered in blood and other liquids. Her nose was spewing out blood, and her lip was split open. Horror was all I felt as I looked at her.
