If I wrote a story about a Pokémon trainer, starting from the first region (Kanto) I would want to make a character that from Kanto, travels all the way through all the regions.
Till around Alola, then I would say time travel to Hisui and then back to 'present' time to Galar and then from there, whatever happens in Paldea.
But, I want to name this character something memorable, because this character will take the place of the character we play as in each game. (Yes, the main character, but the rest will be there as side characters, I won't get did of them).
I would one day want to write a story like this.
