Greek mythology headcanons.
As the 4 seasons are caused by Demeter being too depressed to work due to Persephone being in the underworld, I headcanon that after seeing the agriculture in southeast-asia, she got happy and worked here and that is why we are always summer and spring. Due to this, Zeus had to take over but he can't really control the seasons that way and instead he just made rain for half the year and thus the monsoon season
