An aspiring astronaut
"I would like to die on Mars... Just not on impact"-Unknown
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there's footprints on the moon." -unknown
"We live in a blue and green planet that circles a ball of fire next to a rock that moves the sea and you don't believe in miracles?" -unknown
"I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night." -unknown
"Live your dream and believe in it even when nobody else will. Be willing to sacrifice everything to live your dream and spend your life doing what you really want to do." -me
"There's no one like you. We've all got something that no one else has got. Follow your dream and don't let those bastards grind you down! Go for it! Fuck 'em!"-Brian Blessed Russian Cosmonaut.
When I was a little 5 year old kid my parents took my twin brother and I to the Space Center and I looked at the retired rocket and the model of what Earth looked like from the moon and saw the moon rocks. I ran around the giant play structure and watched the space videos. I have wanted to be an astronaut or cosmonaut ever since, taking astronomy classes, learning space history, even teaching myself to speak Russian. It is my dream for twelve years with everyone telling me it can't be done. That it's difficult to send people up because we have to hitch rides with the Russians. So be it if I can't go here I'll go to Russia and live my dream of seeing the Earth and stars for myself on the ISS doing experiments and research to help mankind and nobody can tell me otherwise. I don't care if you dislike Russia or say it's a bad place to live. I'll save my money and fill all the requirements by both Nasa and Russian space programs. I'll overcome my fear so I can be launched in and out of Earth's atmosphere in a capsule and nothing you say will stop me.
