@Astri_Dia ah, sorry for assuming. that was very rude of me. i do hope that your parents beat cancer; it's unfortunate that they were diagnosed with it, but if you feel very bummed about it, just keep in mind there is always that possibility that they will survive. and considering how modern technology is advancing, their survival rates are higher than any time in human history. it's also nice to know that writing is one of your coping mechanisms.

@Larkbounce well.... not really. Both my parents were diagnosed with cancer recently but I've found that writing is comforting
