@Atinyrmy

These are your own words "I was going to tag you in the disclaimer, saying that my story is highly inspired by yours, but I ended up not doing so, thinking I would mostly come up with my own ideas. However, I ended up using most of your ideas, and I feel guilty about it"

You "Ended up using MOST of ideas" got me.

Good luck with your own writing and your own ideas!

@JeonJikook796 Yes, only I know what the entire book holds—maybe because I AM the author?

          1. Hundreds of books have a King AU.

          2. I've ALWAYS loved age gaps, and since this is a King AU, I wanted a large age gap.

          3. Since it's a King AU, of course, there's going to be a rivalry... To be frank, I don't even remember if Howling Hearts had a rivalry between the Kims and the Jeons. This is purely MY idea.

Do you think Howling Hearts is the only book I've read? I've mentioned in my disclaimer that I read a few good books based on the ABO concept, and—Howling Hearts happens to be one of them and also the most recent one I read.

And surprise! All of the books that I read have—

          A King AU

          A huge age gap

          A rivalry

Are you going to accuse them of plagiarism too?

After reading all of them, these common elements naturally became part of my book as well. But the plot, storyline, and character personalities are entirely MY original work.

I do not wish to get into a conflict with you or any other author. I'm doing my best as a growing writer, and I will strive to bring more originality to my future chapters.

          Thank you.

Inner wolves, herbal remedies, rivalry, and the transformation of the Moon Goddess into a Nature Goddess are common themes in ABO and fantasy stories. Many authors use them in different ways.

          1. Inner Wolves
An inner wolf represents instincts and emotions, acting as a guiding voice. In Luna Lola - The Moon Wolf by Park Kara, the protagonist struggles with her inner wolf. Heat Haven by Sarah Blue explores deep emotional bonds through this connection.

          2. Herbal Remedies
Herbal medicine is used for heat suppression, scent masking, and healing. The Heart and Its Healing Plants by Wolf-Dieter Storl discusses the cultural importance of herbal healing. Many ABO stories use natural remedies instead of synthetic suppressants.

          3. Rivalry
Conflicts between Alphas, packs, or families add drama. In Luna Lola - The Moon Wolf, the protagonist faces pack struggles. The Lycan’s Queen by Laila and Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright focus on power struggles and dominance.

          4. Moon Goddess Becoming a Nature Goddess
Some stories expand the Moon Goddess’s role into a Nature Goddess, linking her to balance, destiny, and spirituality. Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan reimagines a celestial figure based on mythology.

          Conclusion

These themes are not copies but are well-known parts of the genre. Many authors use them in different ways, making their stories unique. What makes a story special isn’t avoiding common themes—it’s how the writer adds their own ideas, characters, and emotions to them.

If you're new to the genre, reading official ABO novels can help you understand its themes better. Inspiration is a natural part of writing, and originality comes from how you develop and personalize these familiar ideas.

And don’t worry! Your story is unique—your characters, themes, and world are your own. These are just common ABO elements that many writers use in different ways!

@JeonJikook796 ....She wants to write an ABO story with old traditions, which commonly includes kings, pack wars, and similar elements. These are standard in the genre, much like how fantasy often includes magic or royal conflicts.

If thousands of ABO novels feature battles between packs or kings, it’s a common trope, not plagiarism. However, she’s being accused of stealing elements like herbal remedies, the moon goddess, or the concept of an inner wolf.

A coincidence occurs in two aspects: one being an age gap, the other involving a stepmother. But beyond that, there’s no strong similarity that would make it a copy.

She simply wants to use these standard elements to craft her own story. How can that be considered copying when her storyline is entirely different?

For instance, a forced marriage trope—even outside of ABO—can be found in hundreds of novels with similar family structures. However, plagiarism only occurs when dialogues, scenes, and the storyline are directly stolen.

@Atinyrmy whatever it is, as you also agreed that you took many ideas from the book, okay? I got it, that you got too much inspiration, like too much inspiration...

            1) Theme ABO, okay it's a common thing. I am fine with it.
            2) then, traditional ABO set up.
            3) herbs are common, I agree.
            4) 15 years age gap?
            5) JK's step mother.
            6) King au
            7) rivalry between Kims & Jeon's.

In just two chapters, I pointed out 7 things, only you know what the whole book holds?

Writers get inspired by other authors, I agree, they try the same trope, themes, elements and genre but they don't grab the whole storyline and plot.

I hope, the future chapters have your own ideas and storyline.

@JeonJikook796 My storyline is entirely original. I did not use the same storyline as any other author.
