@theyinyang Actually, I'm thinking of taking the short story down and just putting up the novel version, but the summary remains the same and I'll still need an editor.
          
          In the year 2032, a lab scientist is contracted by a corporation to develop their project Star Dog. Looking much like a beast-like German shepherd, Star Dog is the perfect biological component that is a stepping stone to greater technologies. The story follows the development of Star Dog and his supernatural capabilities with adherence to the principles of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. 

Would you mind giving me the summary of your short story? It seems interesting.

Just to let you all know, that I've been hard at work on Star Dog and you should expect some new chapters soon, and some fixing of the old ones.

@Smile101 Yes! Someone finally used that acronym! It's official! :D And I plan to, but I've had requests to revamp SDL into a novel, so I'm currently in the middle of doing so! :)

Okay, just saying, SDL is an awesome book! Keep writing more books like that!

@SkriBlerLenz Thanks! I'm so happy you read it. :) I've been asked by numerous people to expand it into a novel, so I'm thinking of doing that. Winning that contest really made me excited about it. I was sweating buckets over it before worrying if it was good enough.
