Hello! I write part time and have published several novels on Amazon under the name M. J. Konkel. I grew up and am now back in western Wisconsin along with my wife and two kids. I will add more here about me, but ... ah ... my cat just threw up and guess who has to clean it up.

Back to my profile. Several of my published books feature dinosaurs in a parallel universe (The Displaced Series). I am currently working on two new novels. One features characters from The Displaced Series. The other I'm having trouble pegging what genre to put it in. Is modern rural fantasy a thing? The MC is a black teenage boy, but it is also partly written from the viewpoint of a local alcoholic police officer. And it is set in rural Iowa. The book will be titled The Canavar after the fantastical/paranormal creature that the story is centered around.
