Zdravo!

 I collect nicknames like pens. So, call me Aubrey (sometimes pronounced "Arbery"), Aubz, Aubzie, Aubzters, Little Red, or whatever you like -within reason- and I shall answer.  

I'm accepting that I'm a writer word by word, edit by grueling edit, story by story. It's the best way to satisfy the insatiable beast most have named the mind, or, in some circles, the imagination. 

I enjoy collecting stories: true, fictional, and in-between. I believe there is nothing like the great outdoors and that music has magical properties.
Nothing beats the classics like Red Skelton, Carol Burnette, Richard Fletcher, and Chaplin. I'm inspired by their unique, clever comedy and genuine storytelling {Red Skelton and the National Anthem! Holy cow! Worth taking the extra effort to youtube.}
