Former Creative Director and Editor @ publisher Go! Media Entertainment. I oversaw production and translation of Japanese manga, as well as working with talented artists to bring their original works into the world, including JAPAN AI by artist/animator Aimee Major Steinberger, and Wendy Pini's MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH, which began as a lush, full-color comic and is now available as an animated musical.

I've also written animation scripts - mostly pilots that didn't make it into production, gah! This is normal; it's a process to get any film or streaming series off the ground and more often than not even the most anticipated of projects never get made.

I love writing YA & NA (and blurring the line between the two). My usual genres are Fantasy, SF, and Horror packed with romantic tension and intense action. I am tempted to write that my stories are inclusive, but in my mind that should be assumed to be normal and accurately describe most stories, rather than being something that has to be pointed out; what should be abnormal in creative works is exclusionary storytelling that acts like entire categories of humans being don't exist! My creative peers, keep writing what you write and repping every kind character who should be repped!

And if you are transphobic, I don't want you as a reader or a fan. I'd rather lose views than gain hate.

After submitting manuscripts to myriad agents (as I no longer run a publishing company to publish them with) and making no progress at all, I've decided to run my finished works as serials because I am addicted to cliffhangers!

I do not shy away from dark themes because it's important to acknowledge human suffering and our capacity for healing from pain, so be aware that there might be material that could trigger readers with trauma (but I'll warn in advance).
