I'm Aurora Creed, a seventeen year old author. I have recently finished the initial draft of my first novel, which I am super excited to release in the fall of 2020!



My passion for the power of storytelling began with the tall tales I began to weave nearly as soon as I learned to talk. At eight years old, I obtained access to a laptop- a thick, clunky contraption with keys so brutish my tiny fingers struggled to depress them- and began to dabble with the written word.



Writing has become more than just a hobby- it is a skill I have exercised and studied to develop more and more everyday, and now I can say with confidence that I am a well-rounded writer!



I believe that everyone- especially teenagers- should find that one thing they love to do and push themselves to get good at it, and aspire to learn how to utilize these abilities to propel us into the next stage of life, whether that is paying for college debt-free (like me!) or starting your career.



Teens, just like adults, each have a valuable talent or gifting to invest in the world. We, as humans, are more valuable than to stumble into the same rut of those before us- starting life at a minimum wage job, forcing our way through college to be met with debt, which we then work to pay off.  Life isn't easy, but if we are willing to dedicate ourselves to excelling in whatever field in which we can exercise our skills, we can rewrite the future. We can be the generation of passionate entrepreneurs. I believe in us! :)



I am eager to share some of the sci-fi/fantasy themed worlds swirling in my head with other young adult readers like me!
