I want to use this space to share something that is quite personal to me.

I experience hallucinations and episodes where my brain can create entire scenes, characters, places and worlds. Sometimes they can feel incredibly vivid, almost like stepping into another reality.

So rather than simply trying to explain what I experience, I want to write it.

The stories I create will take inspiration from the worlds I see in my mind, the characters that appear, the strange situations I experience and the way reality can sometimes become distorted during an episode.

I want to take those experiences and turn them into actual stories, giving other people the opportunity to step inside the worlds I experience.

Some of these stories may be dark, strange, emotional or completely surreal. Others might become full adventures with their own characters, histories and worlds.

These aren't stories about what I think the world should look like.

They're stories about what my mind sometimes shows me.

Mental health is a part of my life, but it isn't the entirety of who I am. Writing is simply the way I've chosen to explore these experiences and give them somewhere to exist.
