@Kokomalow honestly i ship it, although i hope you're not expecting me to personify an ocean, haha.
            
            poland probably seas (haha get it) the relationship as like, a symbolic commitment and a sort of 'promise' he made to his country and to their national identity. maybe there's some nice solemn moments where he looks at his ring (it'd be cool if he actually had a wedding ring for the sea haha) and just smiles. or sometimes visits the shore and likes to talk to it like an old friend, laughing quietly about the half-joke nature of the relationship. 
            
            also if he has like a wife or something, there could be some funny moments where she grumbles, "can't believe im being replaced by a body of water", and then they look at each other for a moment before laughing. 
            
             definitely sweet, and i like it! my mind is racing now.. whoops
