I am hiding, always hiding.
Always feeling so terrified and unsure.
I am running as far as my feet could carry me.
Yet, they kept on following.
I am terribly exhausted, so out of breath that my heart began pounding so hard in my chest.
Anxiety, pain and a tingling sense of dread was all I felt.
Kept on calling for help, but no one was there.
Like the rain falling from the heavens, no one came to catch me.
And as my body crashed, fresh blood spilled the barren ground.
Only, and only then did help arrive.
He kept my cold body close to his and enveloped me in his embrace.
He told me to stay.
But, I was already gone.
