My name is ME Carter.  Writing books is my hobby.  I don't do it to be rich or famous.  I like seeing something I create come to life.  And honestly, I hate using the word "author".  I prefer to think of myself as a "storyteller".  I have just surrounded myself with people who know how to get those stories on paper!
I live in Texas with my husband and 4 kids.  Mary, Elizabeth and Carter are the three oldest and where my pen name comes from.  The fourth, Bug, was born after the pen name was created.  Poor kid missed out.  I'll have to figure out where to incorporate him at some point.  :)
