Hello Wattpad community,

My name is Monica McGurk and I love nothing more than to craft thought-provoking, multilayered stories, showcasing strong girls and women overcoming big challenges. I am also a passionate advocate against human-trafficking, which is a key theme my YA trilogy, The Archangel Prophecies.

I tested my writing wings on Wattpad as a fanfiction author with "Morning Star," my alternate ending to the Twilight series, which won the 2013 TwiFic Fandom Undiscovered Gem award.

I have since published my first novel in the The Archangel Prophecies trilogy, Dark Hope (2014), and I'm excited to announce that Dark Rising, the second novel in this series, will be published June 30, 2015! I've also already begun working on the final installment, Dark Before Dawn, which is set to come out in 2016.
