Yeh saal toh bas downfall hi hua. Not even a soft one. A full dramatic, no-warning, slipped-on-a-banana-peel type downfall.

          	Itna manhoos saal.

Plans were made. Confidence was high. Reality said “haha no”. Some days I was thriving and most days I was just surviving on chai and false motivation.

I entered the year with goals and exited it with character development I never asked for. Writing happened yes but so did burnout, self-doubt and the classic “kal karungi” that turned into weeks.

There were moments I felt like I had it together, and then there were moments I couldn’t even open my drafts without feeling personally attacked. Updates were inconsistent, energy was low and life kept throwing side quests like it was bored.

Yeh saal ne thoda zyada hi tough banaya.

And yet somehow I’m still here. You’re still here. The stories are still alive. You all stayed through the silence, the delays, the chaos and the emotional rollercoaster.

Honestly, that’s the biggest plot twist of the year.

So here’s to 2026. Hopefully less downfall and at least one month where everything goes according to plan. No big promises, no “this is my year” speeches bas thoda shanti thoda consistency and a lot of honesty.

          	Happy New Year ❤️
Same writer. Same humour. Slightly stronger spine.
Downfall se growth tak ka safar… loading.
