I'm a mom of four humans and two spoiled kitties. We live in a house on a small lake with tons of wildlife. On any given day there are coyotes, bears, deer, crows, bobcats, squirrels, and countless birds. All of which give me tons of inspiration for my fictional creatures.

I was one of those kids with my nose always in a book. I can remember being so immersed in a story I couldn't hear my mother calling me for dinner. My greatest joy is creating stories for smart, kind, and curious young people as obsessed with books as I was. And I still am!

Many of my stories come to me in dreams, proving there's magic in each of us.
