Hey all! I know updates on CoB have gotten slow again, and I promise, they WILL pick up again soon! Just have some IRL stuff going on at the moment (new job position, moving soon, etc.)
          
          Even if not outta state (new place is right next to my current place actually!) it's still a lotta prep to do, so I'm going to be focusing on that and work for awhile so when I DO get back to CoB, it'll be a nice, stress-free experience.

          This chapter was one I REALLY wanted to get right and I adore how it turned out! I hope you all love it as much as I do! Please heed the content warnings ESPECIALLY in this one, cuz it gets pretty heavy. Like...heavier than normal.

Aight I know I JUST posted a chapter update the other day for CoB and I apologize this one isn't to announce it being published (we'll get there), but just...god. I cannot WAIT for y'all to get to read this one!
          
          I've been so excited to write it and it's been such a treat to see it come together! It fits the vibe of the original game perfectly, it ties into the overarching message of the story really well and I'm just-AHHHH! I'm so excited! This next batch of chapters is probably going to be my favorite ones to write in the whole story. Can't wait for y'all to get to read em! ^^
          
          I promise, as soon as chapter 45 is ready, y'all will get a proper update. I just had to gush for a sec. XD

After so much time spent on this ONE goddamn section, we've FINALLY made progress on chapter 45 of CoB! We about halfway finished now and I hope that with a couple more pushes I should have it out VERY soon!
          
          Not going to give a deadline because life do be happening sometimes and I don't wanna make promises I can't keep.
          
          But I think this chapter will be absolutely worth the wait! I'm REALLY happy with how it's coming out so far!

As we are nearing the end of CoB, I thought I'd point out a funny observation I made after a particular "Eureka!" moment I had last night.
          
          Over the years I've kept the way Sans speaks in CoB for the most part pretty ambiguous. I know a lot of people like to envision Sans with an accent of some sort, so I wanted to grant the reader the ability to imagine whatever kind of voice they wanted for Sans while reading.
          
          This was also due to the fact that for the life of me I couldn't figure out how CoB!Sans sounded in my head or ever settle on one type of voice for him. ^^;
          
          But after many years of deliberation, an untapped market was brought to my attention!
          
          I do think Sans would have a very dynamic voice with a wide range regardless of potential accent, and I know a lot of y'all enjoy Brooklyn accented Sans...
          
          But in my own mind...in honor of my stepmom and the true Southern energy I was brought up with...the idea of Sans, his mom, and even Papyrus having some form of a subtle Southern accent that gets more noticeable depending on emotion...the idea is just TOO good!
          
          This is in no way saying y'all's interpretation of their voices are wrong btw, and I'm not editing dialogue to reflect that. They can still sound however you want when you're reading CoB. This was just a fun thing I came up with for how "I" specifically hear them in my head when writing and I thought it'd be fun to share. ^^
          
          Might explore the idea more in future one-shots, but otherwise I will leave you to do with this info what you will.

I was reading through the first fic I ever wrote the other day for nostalgia's sake and...not gonna lie...I think I could do 2013 me MAD justice with the skills I've accrued over the years.
          
          CoB and the Undercaged!AU in general is still my top priority, but I think once CoB is done, I might work on rewriting "Quill's Journal" to better reflect the writer I've become overtime and to bring to life the kind of story I THINK I was going for back then.
          
          I'm actually really excited to give it a go! Looking forward to what I end up coming up with. ^^
          
          But like I said, CoB takes priority and I'm not starting anything concrete until it's completed.

Officially graduated college today! So that's pretty cool! Finally wrapped up on my education and finally have the piece of paper to prove it. ^^
          
          Thank you all so much for sticking by me while I was going through school, as I know it caused me to not get to write as much as I was able to before I started my college journey. I'm beyond grateful to have such a supportive group of readers that enjoy my work and I can't wait for y'all to see what I've been working on.
