Hi karan and meher ki book aiegii?

Sorry to disturb you mam but I am kinda stuck on a moral dilemmas
          So today, me and 3 of my other batchmates (all from ncc) were sitting near the ground on the stairs, we were basically discussing ki navy day ke program mein kya karna hai. Meanwhile today, there was a kho kho match organised for 9th graders (our juniors) which soon got over aur jo team jeeti usmein hamare 3 ncc ke juniors the. Now wo team celebrate kar rahi thi. Toh kya hua, they were throwing water on each other. Ab usmein kya hua the 3 ncc ones they came close to us. Toh mere ek batchmate ne bola, ek boond bhi padne do hampe phir unko batata hoon. (He said this to me so the juniors didn't hear) I didn't take it seriously I just laughed it off. Ab kya hua galti se thoda sa pani mujhpe pad gaya. Now I jokingly said waise mujhpe to gir gaya paani. (The others didn't get a drop on them) Maine jokingly kaha tha mujhe nahi laga tha they were serious. But phir meri batchmate ne bulaya uss junior ko and she started scolding her by saying ki "dikh nahi Raha yahan par seniors baithe hain" but I cut her off and I sent the junior away. Which was wrong. I accept and i apologised to her ki i shouldn't have undermined her authority. But my question is, ki har cheez mein senior junior accha karna zaruri hai? I mean they had just won a match, it might be possible they didn't notice us and even if they did, they were just celebrating and enjoying. It was just a mistake. But unn logo ka POV hai ki we seniors are too lenient with them iss liye they are not disciplined. Unka tha ki hamare jagah koi aur waha baitha hota aur uspe paani girta toh wo acche se sunata.
          So my reply was just ki toh phir aise dantne ki kya zarurat hai ki yahan senior baithe hain. You could have just said ki yahan koi bhi baitha hua hai, par according to them, they were saying it as seniors and so, they had to say that way. But I don't agree. Har cheez mein senior junior karna zaruri nahi hai. Sometimes we should just let them have fun.
