Hi. I'm looking for a book (forgot the name and author coz it's been years) which has a storyline like this:
          
          A dark/immortal god (of war I think) kidnaps a baby and gives her to a nanny to be raised in isolation. He visits her only on her birthdays till she's of age. He is extremely powerful. After her 18th birthday she goes to live with him and their romance and dynamics unfold after a few months. It's actually a nice story. I did a search for it extensively, but couldn't find it. Please let me know if you've read something similar (the book name or the author). Thanks a ton!

i’ve reread knox and poppy’s story for almost a decade now and am just now getting around to the rest of the series and just realized there’s no book for ellie. that makes me sooooo sad. also there’s so many side characters and their relationships that i love and so wished they had their own book, like roxie’s friends or chad and nicci, or milo ugh i wish wattpad authors would make a comeback

Heya I just finished reading The Set Up and that scene where Xander is playing with Alexander on the carpet while you’re reflecting on how things could’ve turned out so differently it really hit me. The mix of tenderness and the weight of past struggles was so beautifully written. How do you balance writing such heartfelt family moments alongside the heavier more intense parts of the story?
