Hello, and welcome to my page. My name is Autumn Seigel and I am a self-published author. I am your average writing maniac striving to make it with the big dogs(authors). I'm going to be talking about myself and how I got into the writing world.

Well, were should I start? Oh right! I was in 5th or 6th grade when I found my passion for writing. My science teacher, Mr. Radel, wanted to do a little project to end the school year right. He wanted us to write a 10 page story on a science fiction topic, and make it our own. I was a science nerd at that time and my dream was to be an astronaut! So, I chose 'what if there were other lifeforms in our universe?' as my topic. I wrote that ten page story and handed it in to him. In my heart, I knew I could've done better but in a 10 page story you can't do much, can you?

I was handed back the story a week later and I saw a big fat A + on it! I was so excited that I showed everyone. And that was when I knew I had a hobby...and a passion...for writing. I was ten at the time.

Over the past seven years, the hardest part of writing was to show, not tell. I'm still having problems with that now! But, I've had help from my friends, family, and English teachers over the years. Without them, I don't think I would be self-publishing or anything now. I am most proud of my recent story "The Chosen" because I have gotten so much great feedback from my friends, family, and classmates. It was also one of the many NaNoWriMo winners. It was the story that I self-published.

My favorite genres to write about is paranormal romance. All you see me pretty much writing is stuff in the paranormal world. I'm trying to get into the real world and writing about real romances.
