Hey everyone, I know, it's literally been two years since I posted a chapter for The Hurt and I just wanted to sort up update everyone on the whole situation. I started writing The Hurt when I was 14 as a way to vent. The Hurt allowed me to escape everything else that was going on in my world. I want to continue it, although honestly, there are a few things keeping me from doing so. Firstly, I would rather go back and rewrite the whole thing considering my writing skills and style has changed considerably over the past five years. Secondly, the recent plot twist was added too soon, and I never made the technical changes in the previous chapters to allow it to be plausible. And thirdly, I'm currently in the process of moving and I misplaced my external hard drive that has all my previous writings on it, including more chapters for The Hurt. I know The Hurts completion seems dim and I will give it my best effort to try and finish it, while staying true to the direction I had originally planned it to go. Now that that is out of the way, more exciting stuff. I'm going to be taking the next year off from university because I don't know what I want to do with my life, akin to most people my age. I do have another novel idea that I've been chipping away at that I would really like to post in the near future and I would like to post some of my poetry on here. Overall, my goal of the next year is to rekindle my long lost love with Wattpad and get back into writing on the regular.
