I want to write again, I really want to, believe me. But I've just been so discouraged lately.
Recently, when I was writing in class something happened. My English teacher took a few glances at my essay and just announce to the whole class, 'Some students just doesn't know to differentiate academic writing and creative writing.'
I feel so embarrassed at the time, why does she do that? Does she have to?
For context, I was going for a story telling kind of essay like,: '"Mother, can you tell me the story behind that old tree in our yard?" Elise tugged at my shirt with gleaming eyes.'
My English teacher completely threw off my idea and I have to rewrite. Is my writing really that off? Am I not as good as a writer as I thought I was?
Anyways, sorry for the rant. I'm just praying she does not find out about this. Also my classmates. I'm betting she does not read Wattpad, use Wattpad or find my account. It's fine, I'm Autumn here! They won't know.
