Rereading the 2nd chapter of foster kid just hits different when I remember I was only 12 or 13 years old when I wrote it

Hey everyone I just want to let you know I plan on going back to writing shortly. Sorry for disappearing for a bit a few of my friends got into an accident one didn’t make it, ones in a coma, one’s probably going to jail for the rest of their life, and the other one only has a broken arm and ptsd. so yeah know, Sorry for disappearing just had to deal with some stuff.

I’m currently starting a new book on the side about a non-binary person the main character is Tommy I was wondering if you would like me to keep his assigned at birth gender male or make it female.
          
          I would relate better to the female but…. What you you all like?
