Anyone moving from Wattpad to ao3 who's a newbie, if you come across a fic you don't like, then scroll and don't report it.
"&" Means platonic relationships
"/" Means dating/sexual relationships
Dead dove do not eat means that the dove is most certainly dead — tags that are listed means that there'll be talking/doing what is listed so don't be surprised.
You don't need to put # when adding tags, just type what you want and similar tags will pop up
And remember, ao3 is an archive. No the format doesn't recommend you fics or genres. Yes the format is kind of confusing at first but you quickly get the hang of it.
And YES, there will be fics and oneshots with 4k to even 10k words a chapter. NO there isn't an app for ao3, so deal with it
