Avleen Masawan has a Journalism and Law degree from UTS, but decided that neither of those long songs ever ended up calling to her. Now, she writes young adult fantasy, self-development blogs and poetry, and works in a bookshop in Sydney, Australia. Life is good, and there is music after all. Avleen is also Sub-Editor for the Australian Fairy Tale Society ezine, and loves reading, hiking, yoga, playing flute while imagining she is a forest faery, patting cute animals, and tasting as many vegan choc flavours as humanly possible.
