@rskovach Cheers! I'm happy to have discovered 'Waters of Oblivion'. I am in the middle of reading and so far, it's damn good. I'll be leaving you a few comments for certain!

@miniwriter12s And now I apologize for the delayed response. My inbox is a mess right now :)

New Orleans is my hometown, but I had already been living in New York for a couple of years when Katrina hit...but I have to watch a lot of my friends/family get displaced :(

I'm so glad the emotions are coming through the story for you <3

@AlysArden Sorry for the delayed reply. Life took over. Lol. I can't believe you were in my neck of the woods in '08? Wow, nice. I must have been 20 years old at the time...The days of youth, such a looong time ago.

Forgive me for asking, but, since NO is your hometown, were you displaced after Hurricane Katrina? I'm going by the vivid details of TCG, you could almost taste the pain and devastation.

@AwaitingLily BLARG! You just made my night!

Oh, dang it's a hike! I lived way up in the Bronx for a month back in '08. Yeah, Brooklyn's become quite the little foodie scene...

I'm so glad that you felt like you were in the trenches in TCG...nothing could make me happier than to take you to my hometown!

@AlysArden Lol. Well, for proprieties sake, I'll go back and vote...

Which for some I would never do, but, your work is so compelling. The details, my goodness...It felt as if I was knee deep in the trenches myself.

Ah, and from Brooklyn? What, what! Lol. To be honest, I haven't been to Brooklyn in a long time. I don't have the patience to sit on the train for over an hour. I'm a Bronx gal. If I ever go back, It'll be for the food scene. You guys have some amazing restaurants.
