I just finished reading You’d Be Home Now by Kathleen Glasgow in one sitting starting at 1:30 am, and I know it’s not my target audiences book most likely, but I think everyone should read it. She humanizes the opioid crisis in a way I’ve never seen before, and even articulates how hard it is to be someone loving someone with a substance abuse disorder. I have been on that side of substance abuse my whole life, trying to balance loving the people who have disorders while also doing everything I can for healthy boundaries. If you read this far, please consider reading it bevause we need to end the stigma of addiction to help people
