@Axi_Singh7, I think exam stress and privacy issues are the reasons behind this.

@Axi_Singh7 some mass reporting was taking place. They feared that wattpad would permanently delete their book due to the reportings do the authors unpublished their works for a while...

@Axi_Singh7 I think the issue has settled down? Bcuz the same authors has put up their books again.
            
            They were saying that there was mass reporting going on. Like a planned one & it seems and many authors books got taken down for it.
