Y’all I just read the first book of Percy Jackson (The lightning thief) and I think I have a new favourite series woohoo kinda gives me Keeper of the lost cities vibes. Yay!
@Bookbound_Strawberry Well it depends for each person, I liked reading the novel cuz at my Library, I didn't like the comic art so I didn't want to read it. I think you should read the first book and maybe then decide if it's calling to your heart or not. Like once I borrowed a book bc the blurb looked interesting but after reading the first chapter it didn't call to me so I kinda just ditched without reading the whole book so ya. But I hoped this helped

Ok so I started writing a story about “what if Friday went to state school?” And added some of my favourite books’ characters in them and decided to keep this book between me and my 2 friends who read the same books as me but now thinking about do you guys want to read it?
I’ll give you the basic plot line and you can reply if you think it’s good ok .
Friday goes to state school and is friends with this guy named Alex. He is her only friend, but then he moves to Brighton (a place in England) with the rest of his family. So Friday applies for the student exchange program for some subject (idk what one yet) and then goes there. After a few months her family moves there and life goes on. Then Alex finds out he’s gay and gets a boyfriend named Elliot and soon Alex, Elliot, Elliot’s bestfriend Penny, Penny’s famous boyfriend Noah (in a band) and Friday become close friends. (This is the BACKSTORY)
(Actual Plot)
Her friends go on a tour so she is left alone. Friday gets fired from her part time job for something then this billionaire hires her (aka Ian) and then they fall in love and blah blah blah. Yk like those ‘secretary x billionaire boss’ stories.

Today I found my primary school “time capsule” and read my year six diary it literally said ‘Today I went to my little buddy’s class and was helping out but I had to fix one of their sentences as it said “My dad cum on the house” instead of “My dad come in the house.” Anyways the day was really boring and that was the only interaction I did so ya’

The other day I was at the grocery shop and saw these 2 guys around 16-17ish years old and one of them dropped their phone and it cracked so he said “oh shit” but yk what the other one said “skibidi rizz” as casually as the other said shit like WTF anyways that’s the end of story time.
