No fancy messages coming from me cause my brain had been toasted so hard 

Hey guys, I’ve missed you.
          
          Ok so first things first.... i'm alive. like, actually alive. not a ghost. yet. lol.
          
          Sooo basically the past month and a half ate me alive. work has been CRAZY. I started a new chapter in my life, literally, and it hit me harder than I expected. There were days i didn't even have energy to scroll on tiktok, let alone open my CP and write. my brain was just... static 
          
          But i swear, i love my job. it's exhausting but in a good way? idk how to explain it. like it drains me but also fills me up?? does that even make sense haha  
          
          Anyway, i think i finally got my sht together. i'm not drowning anymore. i can actually breathe and manage my time now like a proper adult (shocking, i know) 
          
          Buttt through all that chaos, one thing kept me going.
          
          And you know what reminded me of that? You. Yes literally Y-O-U. Every notification, every comment, every vote... they stayed with me, even when I was tooooo exhausted to reply. They reminded me that I’m not just writing for myself anymore. I'm writing for us. 
          
          So tomorrow, imma gonna start editing and updating. no promises on how fast cuz i'm still figuring things out but i PROMISE i won't abandon this story. i've come too far and so have you guys. we're in this together fr.
          
          Thank you for sticking around even when i went radio silent. it means the world.

          To tell you the truth, I'm soooo exhausted these past few weeks. There are drafts everywhere, and honestly, I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. 
          
          I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but unfortunately not talented enough to create something flawless. So if you spot grammar mistakes, typos, or other errors, please close one eye and let me off the hook for now, hehe. 
          
          Anyway, I'm still nowhere near halfway through the story, so the hiatus phase is still ongoing,  You guys know me, I can't stay focused on just one thing for too long. My brain is always running off in a different direction.

          I decided to change the Scum Shou’s name from "Chu Yunning" to "Bai Zeyu".
          
          I saw a comment pointing out the similarity of his name with our "Kitty Cat Shizun, Chu Wanning" in Erha, and I can’t bring myself to associate our Shizun (even a similar name) with a scum shou (although they’re different characters, but still—a no no for me ).
          
          Just putting this here so our old readers won’t get confused.

Hello, Dear Ember!
          
          I’d like to apologize for the delayed update, especially after such a long hiatus. 
          
          Honestly, I had planned to update regularly, but as you know, I write this novel entirely on my phone. Before uploading chapters to Wattpad, I usually draft them in docs. Unfortunately… when I went to check my files, all my drafted chapters had disappeared. All that effort felt wasted. I even questioned myself: “Why am I forcing myself to finish this story? Maybe I should just give up.” It was so frustrating, especially after battling writer’s block while creating those chapters, only for them to vanish. 
          
          But you know what kept me going? The dream I had from the very beginning,  to have my own exclusive story, and you, my readers. Your comments, your funny reactions, the little things that made me laugh… they reignited my spirit. 
          
          I had planned to publish 5–7 chapters (or even more) by the end of February to make up for the lost work. Rebuilding everything took a lot of time, and some scenes might be a little different from the original drafts because I can’t remember every single word . As an amateur writer, I’m not perfect and I make mistakes too. If you happen to spot any, please point them out, it really helps me improve! ✍️
          
          Now I’ve learned my lesson. Not only do I copy everything directly into Wattpad, but I also back it up in my Google Drive to make sure this never happens again. ✅
