I went with something like that because one of the first memories I have of Fry is him doubling up with me in the suicide booth, before realizing what was happening and "helping" me (and the fact that he wasn't sarcastic when he said, "Wow, a real life robot!" That was the moment I knew I had to keep him).
@HahaYesVeryOk I don't remember exactly what it says, but it's something along the lines of "1 January 3000: The day I met the one person who could convince me life was worth living. Any of you who disagree can bite my shiny metal posterior." And then it asks if any meatbags took the time to decode the message (if they had the means and/or inclination).
