She didn't really know his story, but that's not something you plainly ask. “Well they haven't quite succeeded. You're still here, with me.” She flashed him a quick grin. [ actually same ]

Serenity's smirk came back as quickly as it disappeared. “Aw, you know me Mads- trouble finds me.” She replied with the click of her tongue and the shimmer in her eyes. “What about you, hm? How've you been lately?”
[ @kitchensinks ] he's such a bean <3 The girl bit on her bottom lip rather harshly. How did he know that? Did she have contact with him before making her stop around here? Running her fingers through her hair, she nodded. “I guess we all need a little change here and there.” She finally settled on. Her eyes softening a little bit, she let out a small sigh. Her 'new' name, truly wasn't very off from her original name either. Not that, that made much of a difference.
[ @kitchensinks ] The brunette popped her head up from picking her nails, blinking a few times when hearing her name. Her ears picking up on his voice, but didn't question it. Serenity paused in her tracks. Now this caught her off guard, for one of the first times. Her eyes wide, she then blinked and went back to normal. “What makes you say that I did?” She replied, almost wincing. Lying never had been a problem for her, but she simply did not expect that question.
