Hi everybody,
I've been thinking long and hard about this. While I have immensely enjoyed writing this fanfic, I don't have as much interest in finishing it as I once did. Therefore, I'm changing this story's status to complete. I have other writing projects that I want to pursue professionally, so I'm focusing my time and energy on that instead. I've wanted to be a writer for years, but I never had the confidence in myself to try. Now, thanks to all of you, who have viewed, voted, and commented on my fun little hiatus deterrent, I do! Thank you!
If anyone has any grievances with me quitting this story, you are more than welcome to finish it yourselves. I will be more than happy to open communications with you and share my thoughts for how the rest of this story goes and want other adventures I imagined for Luz, Amity, and the rest of the Owl House family & friends! Or you can make up your own story.
I will still be publishing summaries for the new TOH episodes in my "Every Episode of The Owl House Reviewed in Ten Words or Less" story for fun. I just read Dana Terrace's Twitter post that Season 2 of The Owl House will premiere on the Disney Channel on June 12! THE HIATUS IS FINALLY DRAWING TO A CLOSE!!! I. CANNOT. WAIT!!!
Sorry. I had to get that out of my system. :D
Anyway, since I started this work of fanfiction to cope with the hiatus after TOH S1, I will not publish any more chapters of TWTH until TOH S2 ends (except for Chapter 9, which I will be publishing before the premiere). I intend to finish what I started, but I need to plan out the details for the overall plot first, and Season 2's running period feels like the perfect time to do it.
I'd also like to announce that I plan to start a new story to publish my reactions to the new Owl House episodes. Nothing in-depth, though, as that would take precious time away from planning out the rest of TWTH. I'm picturing something like a JelloApocalypse ten words or less review with a 0-10 rating system based on how much I enjoyed the episode. It should save time, convey my feelings adequately, and, most importantly, be fun!
